260 FNUS55 KABQ 200818 FWFABQ Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North and Central New Mexico National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 118 AM MST Thu Nov 20 2025 .DISCUSSION... A Pacific storm system will bring widespread rain and high mountain snow to much of northern and central New Mexico today. A few inches (generally 2 to 7") of snow will accumulate on high peaks above 8,500 feet, especially over northern New Mexico. At lower elevations, many locations will receive a couple to a few tenths of an inch of rainfall through this evening. More sunshine and warmer temperatures are forecast for Friday and Saturday. However, another Pacific storm system will once again bring rain and mountain snow to much of New Mexico Saturday night into Sunday with similar precipitation amounts. Drier weather will then start the next work week. ................................................................
