Today will feature slightly higher humidity but northwest breezes will continue with very hot temperatures. Isolated showers and storms will produce strong wind gusts and small footprints of wetting rainfall. The coverage of showers and storms with locally heavy rainfall will begin increasing Sunday and Monday along with cooler temperatures. A monsoon burst pattern may develop over the region Tuesday through Friday with widespread rainfall, cooler temperatures, and increasing risk for flash flooding. ................................................................
