Cooler with increased moisture invades northeastern NM this morning, with showers and thunderstorms over the east-central plains this afternoon and evening. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will favor the Rio Grande Valley Tuesday evening, shifting westward along the Continental Divide Wednesday. There is a marginal risk for some of these thunderstorms to produce locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding in poorly drained areas in these same areas Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Drier and warmer conditions spread across eastern and central NM Thursday and Friday with precipitation chances favoring western and northern NM. ................................................................
