Scattered slow-moving showers and storms will focus over the high terrain of western and northern New Mexico today. Rainfall footprints will be smaller than Sunday, but isolated amounts up to one inch may occur as well. Moisture decreases Tuesday as storm coverage trends lower. Coverage increases again in northern and eastern areas Wednesday and Thursday as moisture is replenished behind a backdoor front. Temperatures will be hot all week, with highs several degrees above average. ................................................................
