A much wetter and cooler weather pattern will occur this week. There are high chances for widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 2" by the end of the week, with locally higher amounts greater than 3" around the higher terrain. Existing fire suppression efforts will be able to get the upper hand this week and the risk of new fire starts will be significantly lower. ................................................................
