The wet pattern will continue through the end of the week with numerous showers and storms generally moving from south to north. Wetting rainfall is likely in most areas, with two-day forecast rainfall amounts exceeding one inch across much of western and northern New Mexico. Rain chances will be highest during the afternoon and evening each day, although showers with a few storms likely likely linger during the overnight and morning hours each day. Drying occurs from west to east this weekend, but another uptick in moisture is forecast again early next week. Prevailing winds will generally be light today, but a southerly breeze will develop in most areas Thursday afternoon and evening. Gusty outflow winds near showers and storms will continue to be a concern. ................................................................
