Scattered showers will produce mostly gusty erratic wind shifts over portions of western and central NM this afternoon, and again Thursday afternoon. An influx of monsoonal moisture arrives Friday and Saturday bringing a reduction in mixing heights and ventilation, alongside numerous to widespread showers with embedded thunderstorms. Burn scar flash flooding will be a main concern, but there is considerably uncertainty regarding rainfall intensities. Drier and warmer conditions return to at least western and central NM Sunday and into early next week. ................................................................
