Critical fire weather conditions are not expected the next seven days. Numerous showers and storms are likely areawide today and tomorrow, bringing wetting rainfall to many locations. The heaviest rainfall is likely in the northeast quadrant of the state where rainfall totals may exceed 1". Gusty outflow winds up to 50 mph may accompany any storms the next several days. Rain chances trend down slightly this weekend into early next week, coinciding with a rise in high temperatures up to near seasonal averages. Good to excellent humidity recoveries tonight and tomorrow night will become fair to good this weekend and early next week. ................................................................
