.DISCUSSION...
A weak backdoor cold front will move west onto the east slopes of
the Sandia Mountains after sunrise this morning. A brief period of
east to southeast winds is expected this morning before shifting
out of the south then southwest through the afternoon. Winds will
be light and terrain dominated again tonight with good humidity
recoveries. Northwest winds will trend stronger again Thursday with
gusts in the 20 to 25 mph range by mid afternoon. Ventilation will
be poor today and likely again tomorrow. However, there is potential
for fair ventilation Thursday if mixing heights trend better than
expected.
