.DISCUSSION...

Isolated showers continue as of 1030am around the Jemez Mountains,
with very light rainfall amounts. Scattered showers and storms are
likely to develop along the high terrain of north central NM
between 1-5pm this afternoon. Lower confidence in a storm directly
impacting the area as storms are likely to move to the north and
northeast. Should a storm hit, gusty winds and heavy rainfall are
the main threats. There are chances for showers overnight after
midnight, but any rainfall amounts should remain light. Storm are
unlikely over the area Saturday as the better moisture remains
to the east of the Jemez Mountains. However, an outflow or two
from distant storms cannot be ruled out from impacting the area.
