.DISCUSSION...
On Monday, the upper level high will re-center over the NM/CO border
north of the burn site. This will result in warmer temperatures than
on Sunday across the area. Additionally, some modest moisture may
result in isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and
early evening. These storms will produce little rainfall, but
confidence is high that if these storms materialize, they will
produce gusty and erratic outflows, potentially over 40 mph. Any
storm that develops will diminish during the early evening hours. A
similar story is in store for Tuesday, though chances for wetting
precipitation are slightly higher and the upper high will strengthen
further. Thus, another hot day with gusty winds the primary concern
from any thunderstorms.
