A few showers moved near the area earlier this morning, but are moving south away from the area. Clouds will clear in its wake, then another round of showers and storms is expected around the mid-afternoon, with the most likely time for a storm between 2PM and 5PM. While locally heavy rainfall rates up to 1.5 inches/hour are possible briefly, storms should be moving quick enough to prevent any flash flooding. There is around a 10-20% heavy rainfall rates last long enough to produce flooding in the area this afternoon. Storm chances decrease significantly after sunset, giving way to a mostly clear night.
