.DISCUSSION...
Primary weather concern for today and tomorrow will be a backdoor
front pushing through the area this afternoon. The front should
arrive by noon today, turning the winds to the northeast. A few
surface gusts up to 15-20mph cannot be ruled out. Winds look to
subside gradually through the evening, but may remain slightly
elevated in areas of higher terrain near the burn area. Other than
winds, showers begin to enter the area Friday evening (after the
end of the forecast period for this request), with low rainfall
amounts expected (up to 0.1-0.2"). Gusty winds can be expected
near showers.
