.DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms are expected in the area as early as 3pm this
afternoon, with storms being capable of producing gusty winds,
hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall over half an inch.
There is moderate confidence that a few rounds of storms may
impact the area, increasing the chances for localized flash
flooding. Storms are likely to taper off by 9pm, with scattered
showers remaining around the area through midnight at least.
Cannot rule out an isolated thunderstorm overnight, or for
showers to last as late as 3am. Very similar conditions are
expected tomorrow, with just a slight drop in temperatures.
