.DISCUSSION...
Light showers in the area of the Jemez Mts are ending this hour,
with calm conditions forecast tonight. Wednesday will see a more
active afternoon thunderstorms, with one or two storms favoring
development near the fire location in the early to mid afternoon
period. Storm motions will be toward the southeast toward Santa
Fe. Gusty winds will likely last longer into Wednesday evening and
night before settling down Thursday morning. Increased moisture
will allow for better humidity recoveries during this time.
Thursday sees similar afternoon thunderstorm activity.
