.DISCUSSION...

For tonight, thunderstorms are expected to continue to develop
across the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, moving to the southeast.
Lower confidence in any one storm hitting the location, but any
storm that does is capable of rainfall amounts between 0.5-1 inch
and gusty winds up to 45mph. These storms are expected to move
south away from the area by 9pm, with a low chance for light
showers from then till midnight. Any shower midnight and beyond
will be very light in nature. For tomorrow, showers and storms
are most likely to begin around 12pm and continue through the
mid-afternoon hours, with locally heavy rainfall and flash
flooding possible, due to being downstream of the HPCC burn
scar as well as the impacts seen to NM434. Small hail and gusty
winds can be expected in any stronger storm.
