URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING
FOR MUCH OF WESTERN NM AND PORTIONS OF NORTHERN DUE TO VERY LOW
HUMIDITY, GUSTY WINDS AND AN UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE...

.Stronger west to southwest winds will develop this afternoon with
deep atmospheric mixing and an extremely dry airmass in place.
The main threat areas for the spread of fire will be west of the
Continental Divide, the Upper Rio Grande Valley and the Northeast
Highlands where winds will be strongest.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM MDT THIS
EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag
Warning...which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT this
evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...Upper Rio Grande and Lower Chama River Valleys
  (Zone 121).

* 20 FOOT WINDS...West to southwest at 20 to 25 mph with
  occasional gusts up to 35 mph by late afternoon.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...7 to 12 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this Red Flag Warning.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 10 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.
