...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL TORRANCE AND
SOUTHWESTERN GUADALUPE COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM MDT...

At 500 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles southwest of Vaughn, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Vaughn and Duran.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 285 between Mile Markers 193 and 204.
Highway 60 between Mile Markers 264 and 272.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
