...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL COLFAX COUNTY UNTIL 2
PM MDT...

At 124 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles west of Raton Crews Airport, or 20 miles southwest of Raton,
moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of Central Colfax County.

This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 318 and 325.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
