...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CIBOLA COUNTY UNTIL
1215 PM MDT...

At 1131 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Grants, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Grants, McCartys, San Fidel, Skyline-Ganipa, Cubero, New Laguna,
  Acomita Lake, North Acomita Village, Acomita and Seama.

This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 82 and 112.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
