...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL DE BACA COUNTY
UNTIL 230 AM MDT...

At 200 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles east of Fort Sumner, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Fort Sumner and Taiban.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 326 and 345.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
