...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SAN JUAN COUNTY
UNTIL 645 PM MDT...

At 617 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Bloomfield, moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Bloomfield and Turley.

This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 66 and 80.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
