...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CATRON AND WEST
CENTRAL SOCORRO COUNTIES UNTIL 345 PM MDT...

At 311 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Datil, and is stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Datil and Pietown.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 55 and 91.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Accumulations of small hail on roads can also create very slick and
hazardous driving conditions.
