  Central Curry County in east central New Mexico...
  South Central Quay County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 830 PM MDT.

* At 742 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
  Saint Vrain, or 17 miles west of Clovis, moving northeast at 20
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ranchvale.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 374 and 376.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
