The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South Central Mora County in northeastern New Mexico...
  North Central San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...

* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 515 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest
  of Watrous, or 17 miles southeast of Mora. This storm was
  stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Watrous, Valmora, Golondrinas and Rainsville.

This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 361 and 365...and
between Mile Markers 366 and 373.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
