* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Curry County in east central New Mexico...
  De Baca County in east central New Mexico...
  Northwestern Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico...
  North Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...

* Until 715 PM MDT.

* At 641 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  6 miles east of Tolar to 12 miles east of Ramon, moving southeast
  at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Fort Sumner, Taiban, Tolar, Mesa and Floyd.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 285 between Mile Markers 135 and 153. Highway 60 between Mile
Markers 322 and 356.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
