...The National Weather Service in Aberdeen SD has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in South Dakota...

  North Fork Whetstone River near Milbank affecting Grant County.

.For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes
precipitation through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation
could affect the forecasts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

  that fell late Thursday night through early Friday morning.

* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 1056.0 feet, Significant agricultural flooding begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 1056.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:15 AM CDT Saturday was 1056.2 feet.
  - Flood stage is 1056.0 feet.
