Warning for the following rivers in South Dakota...

  Little Minnesota River near Peever affecting Roberts County.

.For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes
precipitation through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation
could affect the forecasts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Minnesota River near Peever.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Left bank below gage begins flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 17.1 feet and rising
    very slowly.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 AM CDT Monday was 17.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 11.8 feet
    Monday, June 23.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
