.DISCUSSION...
The center of a surface high pressure system will build into the
area tonight into Friday morning. With a dry air mass in place plus
clear skies and light winds expected overnight, some of the coolest
temperature readings of the season are expected. Most of the area
should see lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s. However, some spots of
northeast SD and west central MN could see readings dip into the mid
to upper 30s. Dry conditions are expected tonight through Friday
before another low pressure system and cold frontal passage bring
some rain showers to parts of the area on Saturday. Winds become
southeasterly on Friday with gusty conditions developing by the
afternoon across central SD. Minimum relative humidity values on
Friday afternoon will range between 30-40 percent.
