.DISCUSSION...

Clouds will be on the increase today, along with increasing chances
for rainfall from southwest to northeast throughout the day and into
the evening. Lowest humidity values are forecast between 40 and 60
percent, with winds out of the east to northeast at 5 to 15 mph.

On Wednesday, the sky will clear and winds will begin to favor a
southeast direction with gusts around 20-25 mph across central/north
central SD by mid/late afternoon. Forecast humidity values are
lowest across central SD, ranging from 40 to 50 percent, with higher
readings east of there.

Hot and humid conditions will arrive on Thursday and remain into
Saturday. Relative humidity values may fall below 30 percent around
and west of the Missouri river during this period. Increasing
southeasterly winds on Friday, to 20 to 30 mph, will bring increased
fire weather concerns in central South Dakota.
