.DISCUSSION...
Morning showers and a couple of thunderstorms will linger across
parts of east central and south central South Dakota. Some re-
development of heating of the day afternoon storms could be possible
with coverage remaining mostly isolated. Winds become southwest
today with afternoon gusts up to 20 mph. Minimum relative humidity
values will range between 30-40 percent mainly across west river
areas. Southerly winds will persist tonight into Thursday. The lee
side of the Prairie Coteau in northeast South Dakota could see some
enhancement of gusty winds early Thursday morning. Winds will turn
west to northwest by Thursday afternoon and evening as a cold front
drops south across the area. Gusts will range between 15-25 mph
during the afternoon as minimum relative humidity values bottom out
between 25-30 percent across central South Dakota.
