.DISCUSSION...
Winds out of the northwest will continue behind an exiting cold front
shifting across western Minnesota. Humid conditions remain, with minimum
relative humidity staying mainly above 70 percent east of the
Missouri River, and above 40 percent west of the Missouri River.
Expect excellent relative humidity recovery Wednesday morning. Patchy
to areas of fog is expected Wednesday morning primarily east of the
James River. Visibility may fall to around 1 mile or less across east
central South Dakota.
Drier weather will slowly take hold as an area of high pressure
builds in from Montana and North Dakota through Friday. Relative
humidity values will fall into the 40 to 55 percent range Wednesday.
Winds most locations will be around 10 mph or less, with a few gusts
out of the west to northwest around 20 mph across north central
South Dakota and the eastern slopes of the Sisseton Hills.
