.DISCUSSION...
High pressure exits east tonight along with any residual thicker
clouds and sprinkles or showers. Dry and not as cool tonight with
lows in the mid 40s to low 50s thanks in part to breezy south to
southeast winds. Low pressure and an associated cold front approach
the region by tomorrow morning. South to southwest winds ahead of it
will boost temps into more mild ranges. A few scattered showers will
be possible as the front pushes through by midday and afternoon. A
breezy southwest wind will switch to the west and northwest behind
the front. Gusty northwest winds between 25 to near 40 mph will be
possible Saturday afternoon from the James Valley west through
central South Dakota. Minimum relative humidity values on Saturday
afternoon will drop to 35-40 percent range across central South
Dakota.
