.DISCUSSION...
Winds will gradually switch out of a northwest direction from west
to east across the region on Thursday, behind a passing weak frontal
boundary. Afternoon humidity values are forecast to drop to between
25 and 35 percent over central SD, with higher values closer to 40
or 50 percent over northeast SD.
On Friday, winds will vary a bit across the region depending on
location, with easterly winds over central SD and light north winds
further east. Overall, winds are expected to be less than 15 mph for
most areas. Afternoon humidity is forecast to range from 30 to 45
percent for most areas, with the lowest readings over north central
SD.
