Mainly dry conditions are expected to prevail until late Thursday
and early Friday. A cold front will push through the area overnight
allowing winds to become more north to northwesterly. This will help
draw in cooler temperatures that will likely persist through the end
of the week into the upcoming weekend. A weak disturbance will
deliver light rain showers to mainly central South Dakota late
Thursday into early Friday. Rainfall amounts look to be spotty and
meager. Southerly winds return Friday with gusts around 30 mph
possible across central South Dakota. Minimum relative humidity
values are forecast to range between 35-55 percent both Thursday and
Friday.
