.DISCUSSION...

A weak cold front will continue to sink southeast over portions of
eastern South Dakota and Minnesota through the rest of the daytime
hours. The main result of this cold front will be winds shifting out
of a north to northwesterly direction and increasing, with gusts of
20 to near 25 mph. These winds will relax this evening with the loss
of daytime heating and mixing. Relative humidity of 20 to 30% over
central South Dakota will improve to 70% or greater tonight.

Friday will bring winds mainly out of an east to northerly direction,
with relative humidity values falling to 30 to 40% over central
South Dakota, while staying above 40-50% over northeastern South
Dakota and west central Minnesota. Mainly dry weather will continue
through the day Saturday.
