.DISCUSSION...

While there is a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain showers this
afternoon over central South Dakota and early this evening over
eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota, little to no
accumulation is expected.

Winds have shifted out of a west to northwesterly direction for all
but far eastern South Dakota and west central Minnesota, which will
switch prior to 6 PM. The strong winds gusting 25 to 35 mph will
slowly diminish this evening through the overnight hours as a cool
ridge of high pressure slides across the area. Winds will be light on
Monday, generally around 10 mph or less, with relative humidity
values dropping to between 35 and 45 percent.
