.DISCUSSION...Temperatures today will reach the upper 90s with
winds out of the south becoming southeasterly thorugh the evening
hours. Not expecting any precipitation in central SD today.
However, there is a 30-50% chance for storms (Wednesday evening)
increasing to 60-80% Thursday. Between Wednesday and Thursday
evenings, the chance for more than 0.5" of rainfall is around 80%.
The chance for more than an inch is around 40%. Most of the
precipitation is expected to fall within this time, but there is a
30% chance of 0.1" falling between Thursday and Friday evenings.
Along with the risk of heavy rainfall, there is a risk of strong
wind gusts of at least 60 mph.
