This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota and
northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Light rain will transition to snow this morning, with the lowest
transition late this morning over far eastern South Dakota and west
central Minnesota. 2 to 8 inches of snow is expected through this
evening. Most of the snow is expected to fall this afternoon. The
highest snowfall amounts of around 4 to 8 inches over grassy and
elevated surfaces across far northeastern South Dakota and west
central Minnesota. The snow and winds gusting up to 45 mph will
combine to create blowing snow with visibility down to 1/2 to a
quarter mile or less at times this afternoon. The hazardous
conditions could impact the evening commute.

north central South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

1 to 3 inches of snow is expected today, with most of the snow
accumulating this morning over mainly over grassy and elevated
surfaces. Winds out of the northwest will gust up to 50 mph today.
The snow and winds will combine to create patchy blowing snow through
this evening.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Northwest winds gusting up to 60 mph will continue today. Snowfall
amounts of an inch or less is expected through the early afternoon
hours. The combination of gusty winds and mainly dry fuels will lead
to moderate to high high grassland fire danger. Outdoor burning
should be restricted.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
