This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota and
northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Light rain this afternoon is expected to change to a wintry mix of
mainly rain and snow late this evening into early Tuesday morning. A
narrow band of precipitation will form somewhere over northeastern
South Dakota and west central Minnesota down through east central
South Dakota, with uncertainty in the exact location. Temperatures
near freezing and a narrow band of higher precipitation may result in
a small area of around an inch of snow early Tuesday morning, mainly
over grassy and elevated surfaces. However, higher amounts could be
possible if rain transitions to snow faster or if we have a moderate
to heavier snow band setup over the area. Brief slick and slushy
roadways will also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
