This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota, north
central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A wintry mix of mainly freezing rain, sleet, and snow will continue
to develop through the morning. Warmer air moving into portions of
central South Dakota in the afternoon will transition precipitation
to mainly rain south of U.S. Highway 14. Elsewhere, mostly freezing
rain and sleet should persist into this afternoon. Total ice
accumulations between a few hundredths and two tenths of an inch are
expected, with locally higher amounts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

For Friday night through midday Saturday, there is a 30 to 50%
chance of more than 3 inches of snow southwest of a line from Miller
to McLaughlin.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central South Dakota
and northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Light snow will continue to develop through the morning. There may be
times when the snow mixes with or changes to sleet. Light snow
accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

For Friday night through midday Saturday, snow accumulations up to an
inch are possible west of a line from Leola to Watertown.

There is a 30 to 50 percent chance wind chill values will fall to
-30F or colder heading into early Sunday morning.
