This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is an Enhanced Risk (level 3 of 5) for severe weather Thursday
evening for west river counties; Corson, Dewey, Stanley and Jones.
The main threats from any of the strongest storms would be large
hail (2+ inch diameter hail possible) and damaging wind gusts (up to
80 mph gusts possible).

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be requested Thursday afternoon and evening.
Weather spotters are encouraged to submit reports to the National
Weather Service in Aberdeen. The public can submit reports on our web
page, Facebook page, or our X feed.
