.DISCUSSION...

One cool high pressure departs today, with a second skipping across
Minnesota tonight. This means generally light winds through Tonight.
Wednesday will see this next high pressure move off to the east,
increasing winds to 25 to 40 mph while temperatures jump back into
the low 70s.

Afternoon humidity today will drop to between 35 and 45 percent.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Wednesday afternoon...The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low to high category.
