582 FNUS63 KABR 010750 RFDABR Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 250 AM CDT Mon Jun 1 2026 .DISCUSSION... Low Grassland Fire Danger is once again expected this afternoon. A surface high pressure center will move overhead this afternoon, keeping wind gusts under 15 miles per hour with variable direction. Minimum afternoon humidity is expected to remain above 35 percent across the forecast area as well this afternoon. Some areas will increase to Moderate Grassland Fire Danger Tuesday afternoon, mainly due to gusty southerly winds, up to 25 to 35 miles per hour. Minimum afternoon humidity is once again expected to fall into the 40-50% range. Chances for storms return Tuesday evening, with gusty winds and cloud to ground lightning the main potential fire weather threats, mainly over central and north central South Dakota.
