to 20 to 30 percent west river, lowest south of Pierre as
temperatures rise to around the century mark. Low pressure moves
into southwest SD this evening with a weak frontal boundary
extending northeast toward the Sisseton Hills. This system will
bring a marginal risk (1 of 5) for severe thunderstorms mainly

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low. Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Tuesday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
