255 FNUS63 KABR 061612 RFDABR Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 1112 AM CDT Sat Jun 6 2026 .DISCUSSION... Min RH this afternoon of 25 to 35 percent will lead to high grassland fire danger in portions of north central SD as south to southeast winds increase and gust 35 to 40 mph. Dewpoints increase east of the Missouri River on Sunday to above 40 percent. Highs in the 90s along and west of the Missouri on Sunday will cause min RH to fall to 30 to 35 percent. South to southeast winds remain breezy on Sunday with gusts of 35 to 45 mph west of the Coteau. There is a slight chance (level 2 of 5) of severe thunderstorms developing across central SD by late afternoon on Sunday with a marginal risk (1 of 5) as far east as the Sisseton Hills. Strong winds and large hail will be the main risks.
