206 FNUS63 KABR 060634 RFDABR Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 134 AM CDT Sat Jun 6 2026 .DISCUSSION... Dry and windy conditions expected through the weekend with highs in the mid 80s to the lower 90s today and upper 80s to the mid 90s for Sunday. It will also feel humid with overall dewpoints in the upper 50s to the mid 60s. Winds will be out of the south to southeast, with gusts of 30 to 50 mph over central South Dakota this afternoon and west of Interstate 29 Sunday afternoon. Highest gusts will be over portions of north central South Dakota. Relative humidity will drop between 27 to 40 percent this afternoon and 27 to 50 percent Sunday afternoon with the lowest values over central South Dakota. Grassland Fire Danger Index jumps back to High category over portions of north central South Dakota Sunday afternoon. The threat for showers and thunderstorms return Sunday evening into Sunday night over central South Dakota and northeastern SD early Monday through Monday afternoon.
