132 FNUS63 KABR 020919 RFDABR Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 319 AM CST Sun Nov 2 2025 .DISCUSSION... Southwesterly winds are expected this morning, mainly over northeastern South Dakota ahead of a warm front. Gusts may reach up to 40 miles per hour this morning in that area, but humidity will still be fairly high, limiting fire weather concerns. Behind the warm frontal passage this morning, dew points will increase to the upper 30s to low 40s, which will help keep humidity above 40 percent during peak temperatures this afternoon. A cold front is expected to pass through this afternoon into this evening, with strong northwesterly winds filling in behind it. The main area of concern is over north central South Dakota, where wind gusts will reach 35 to 45 miles per hour. These winds combine with drier air behind the front (minimum afternoon humidity ranging from 30 to 40 percent) along with peak temperatures to create High to Very High Grassland Fire Danger this afternoon.
