.DISCUSSION...

Winds will continue generally from an easterly or southerly
direction today. Humidity is forecast to remain around 50 to 80
percent as well. One round of morning showers and thunderstorms will
eventually come to an end, with another round of showers and
thunderstorms possible late tonight into Monday morning. Southerly
winds to start the day on Monday will give way to northerly winds by
evening as a frontal boundary moves across the region. Showers and
thunderstorms are in the forecast again, Monday afternoon along this
frontal boundary, some possibly severe. Humidity on Monday is once
again expected to generally remain above 50 percent.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Monday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
