Generally east to northeast winds are expected today while humidity remains high (above 50 percent) for much of the region. Shower and thunderstorm chances will be on the increase again tonight. On Sunday, winds will continue to generally favor an easterly direction for most areas. Afternoon humidity is once again forecast to remain above 50 percent across the area, with continued chances for showers and thunderstorms.
